The best router I've ownedI bought the Apple Extreme a little over a month ago and it is awesome. I have had no problem with my signal, the installation was very easy on both my Mac and my PC. I also just bought a new wireless printer last week and hooked it up to my network and it works with no problem. Thanks Apple for a great product. One more thing, The shipping on this product was extremely fast. I got it long before the estimated delivery date.

So Far so GoodThis is a little tricky to synch with an ipod touch. Manually sync to the key not the passphrase unlike other routers. But once it's up and running - great stuff. Keep in mind it runs at 2.4Ghz so certain portable phones may go fritzy on the same channel. I recommend you use an old 900mhz or 5Ghz or 5.8GHZ model, some I've seen for < $20 online.

Quite satisfiedThis replaced an older model Motorola that had a built in wireless router in which the gateway was failing. The SB6120 was a breeze to install and has extremely reliable. I have not had to restart it once in the past 4 months that I have owned it. I also gained about 600kbs in downstream throughput without changing my service, just due to the newer technology. I definitely recommend this product.

GarbageI was looking forward to getting a wireless router for my new Roku, instead what I got was a day long headache. My connection speed dropped as soon as this device was connected. It took close to 5 minutes just to open my homepage, which made trying to get online help impossible. I am so disappointed. I will now go to BestBuy and buy anything but a Linksys product.

Buyer BewareI had this router (the DIR_655 )and liked it fine for more than a year. Upgraded to firmware 1.3X which cannot be downgraded. The router then kept connections open that were expired. Over a couple of days, those open expired sessions bogged the router down to an unusable state. Couldn't even log into the router over http.

I did a song and dance with online support several times but they were ineffectual at solving the problem -- no solution after 3 months of replys from me. They even got snarky and asked me to give them the reason that I upgraded the firmware -- as if it were my fault for upgrading.

I went to other online sources of info and discovered that the firmware issue is rampant with a large chunk of their routers. My final solution, no thanks to D-Link, was to flash my router with the Russian version of the firmware and then downgrade to the version of North American firmware that worked for me -- 1.21 .

I will never trust a product from DLink again. They've lost any brand loyalty from me that they had built up.
